Minna Mirin Kullback Memorial Prize for Research and Scholarship
The Minna Mirin Kullback Memorial Prize for Research and Scholarship was established in 1968 as a result of a generous gift given by Dr. Solomon Kullback, a prominent American mathematician and former faculty member of the Department of Statistics at The George Washington University. It was created in memory of Dr. Kullback's wife, Minna Mirin Kullback. This award, consisting of a certificate and a cash honorarium, is given annually to a full-time student majoring in Statistics, in recognition of their exceptional research and scholarly achievements.

Fritz Scheuren Prize for Leadership and Service
The Fritz Scheuren Prize for Leadership and Service was created in 2017 as a result of a generous gift given by Dr. Fritz Scheuren, a renowned American statistician and an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Statistics at The George Washington University. The award, consisting of a certificate and a cash honorarium, is given annually to a full-time student majoring in Statistics, in recognition of their exceptional leadership and service to the community.

Graduate Student Teaching Prize
The Graduate Student Teaching Prize was established in 2017 by the Department of Statistics at The George Washington University. This award is presented annually to a graduate teaching assistant in Statistics who has shown exceptional teaching skills and/or provided excellent assistance to instructors. The prize includes a certificate of recognition and a cash honorarium.

Cornfield Awards
The Jerome Cornfield Price Fund was established in 1987 and named after Dr. Jerome Cornfield, a prominent American statistician and faculty member at The George Washington University. The Cornfield Prize recognizes graduate students in Statistics, supporting their academic endeavors. It comprises the following awards:
- Cornfield Award for Academic Excellence and Engagement: This award is given to an MS in Statistics student who has completed at least 18 credit hours in the program with excellent performance. The awardee is selected by the MS program Committee, considering cumulative GPA, grades in advanced (8000 level) courses and participation in co-curricular departmental activities.
- Cornfield Achievement Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Qualifier Exam: This award is given to a Ph.D. in Statistics student who has passed the qualifying exam with high distinction. The awardee is selected by the Ph.D. Qualifying Exam Committee.
