Prof. Judy Huixia Judy Wang has been awarded a new NSF grant (DMS-2436216) as the lead PI for a collaborative project titled “Collaborative Research: FDT-BioTech: Advancing Mathematical and Statistical Foundations to Enhance Human Digital Twin of Neurophysiological Modeling and Uncertainty Quantification.” This is a multidisciplinary project involving GW (Prof. Wang as PI and Prof. Chung Hyuk Park as co-PI), and George Mason University (Prof. Jie Xu as PI and Mingxiu Liu as co-PI) under the grant DMS-2436217. Starting on January 1, 2025, this three-year project seeks to develop the mathematical foundations for a digital twin (DT) system for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on dynamic modeling, prediction, uncertainty quantification, and treatment or intervention recommendation through DT-based optimization.
